Hiring full-time Office Coordinator- Bookkeeper at growing tax preparation and accounting firm.
This is a dual role that has a broad range of duties, and will require someone who exhibits leadership abilities.
During filing season, the role will be roughly 40% bookkeeping, and 60% coordinator.
After April 15, the role will shift and be roughly 80% bookkeeping, and 20% coordinator.
No tax preparation experience is required for this role.
Bookkeeping Duties and responsibilities:
-Quickbooks entries, bank reconciliations, and related
-Document printing and processing
-Tabulation of client drop-offs
-Client communications
-Payroll (monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, ATF)
- Quarterly and annual payroll reports
Coordinator Duties and responsibilities:
-Coordinate work schedules
-Supervise seasonal staff
-Manage tax return workflow and processes
Hours and job duration:
-The position is available immediately.
Hours will vary throughout the year.
-Off-season hours scale down to 8-4, Monday - Thursday.
-Filing season office hours are 8-6 Monday – Friday, and 9-3 Saturdays.
The applicant will typically work 5 of the 6 days per week.
After April 15, the role will be 4-5 days per week, weekdays only.
