HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Ensures patient-centered care and optimal program outcomes at the Behavioral Health Center (BHC) via professional leadership and modeling, expert coaching and guidance, consultation, collaboration, education, quality improvement (QI) initiatives, research, and ethical decision-making.
Assesses the staff’s educational needs, employs evidence-based educational methodologies, acts as a change agent to promote evidence-based practice, consults expertly to direct care staff members, conducts orientation programs for fresh staff members, evaluates initial and ongoing competency validation processes, and participates actively in QI activities.
Intervenes to improve program outcomes, patient and family satisfaction, staff knowledge and skills, team collaboration, and organizational efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field.
Required Experience:
Three (3) years of relevant professional experience in a behavioral health setting (including one (1) year of practice demonstrating leadership and teaching competencies).
Human Resources (HR) may accept relevant graduate-level education in lieu of the required experience on a 1-year:1-year basis (i.
e.
, education and experience must total no less than seven (7) years).
Required Certification/License/Registry:
None
Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degreein psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field.
Five (5) years of professional clinical experience in a psychiatric community mental health or hospital setting.
Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) [or license eligible] in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 491 (Clinical, Counseling, and Psychotherapy Services).
Familiarity with The Joint Commission (TJC) and BHC standards, Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensure regulations, Medicaid, Medicare, and the Affordable Health Care Act (AHCA).
Knowledge of FS, Title XXIX (Public Health), Chapter 394 (Mental Health) [a.
