edu MAJOR FUNCTION: The Program Specialist IV will be responsible for providing the primary grant management support related to ensuring compliance with grant regulations, processing requests for proposals, requests for applications, amendments, performance reports, project fiscal review, monitoring, tracking grant applications, managing grant databases, project review and revision, and award notification.
In addition, the position will serve as a liaison with the Bureau of Family and Community Outreach, the Bureau of the Office of Grants Management (OGM), and other applicable entities to provide technical assistance to the awarded agencies concerning funding, the grant process, and applicant training.
The position will report to the Senior Educational Program Director within the Bureau of Family and Community Outreach.
The position will work closely with other FDOE internal departments and external stakeholders to implement the enrichment programs.
The position will also provide leadership and technical assistance to district and department personnel in implementing extended learning programs in research, progress monitoring, experiential activities, sustainability, and academic interventions.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to: Provides coordination and technical assistance in the design, development, and implementation of ESSER, and GEER contracts/grants, and other Department initiatives to support summer learning camps and afterschool academies.
Works collaboratively with partners and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to effectively implement ESSER, and GEER contracts/grants.

Provides regular reports, data analyses, and evaluation tools to FDOE leadership.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and three years of related project management experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with work experience in extended learning programs (e.
g.
, afterschool, summer camps).
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management and administering educational programs.
