We are seeking experienced and dedicated English and Math tutors in Franklin County, Florida.
Instruction will take place in-person, at the school site.
The ideal candidate will be adept at working with small groups and be comfortable with lesson planning.
The tutor should be caring, dependable, and able to provide personalized instruction for students.
This position requires the ability to plan and deliver daily lessons to small groups of 4 students.
The tutor will meet regularly with teachers to provide progress updates on students and strategize about opportunities for improvement.
A teaching background is not required, but it is preferable.
To be successful in this role, the tutor must have a passion to help students succeed.
Establishing relationships with students is essential.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and be committed to being on-time each day.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
Subject-matter expertise in K-12 English and/or K-12 Math
Comfortable interacting with students and groups.
Professional demeanor
