*Position Overview:*
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Strings Teacher to join our team as a private contractor.
The ideal candidate will specialize in teaching violin, viola, cello, ukulele, and guitar, and will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students either in their homes or through online platforms.

*Responsibilities:*
* Provide one-on-one instruction in violin, viola, cello, ukulele, and guitar to students of various ages and skill levels.
* Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on the individual needs and goals of each student.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and a love for music.
* Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
* Communicate effectively with students and their families to provide feedback and discuss progress.
* Stay current with music education trends, methodologies, and repertoire to enhance teaching effectiveness.
* Manage scheduling and coordinate lesson logistics with students and their families.
* Adhere to professional and ethical standards in all interactions with students and parents.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree, or currently obtaining a bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred.
* Proven expertise in teaching violin, viola, cello, ukulele, and guitar.
* Previous teaching experience with a diverse range of students preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles of individual students.
* Reliable transportation for in-home lessons.
* Comfortable with online teaching platforms for virtual lessons.
* Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
