edu) Responsibilities Oversees data entry of all job postings into Simplicity software by OPS employees.
Reviews all jobs, new employer registrations, and contacts before approving.
Prepares and submits reports to Assistant Director and Intercollegiate Job Bank.
Attends trainings and monitors new software developments, recommending purchases and/or procedure changes.
Provides administrative support to the Associate Dean, Assistant Director, Program Managers and JD Advisors, to include travel arrangements and reimbursement, memberships and event registrations, and appointment scheduling.
Oversees office operations, to include assigning duties to OPS employees, ensuring coverage of phones and front desk, and assisting students, employers and other guests.
Maintains all office filing and purchases items for office as needed.
Coordinates Career Services events, to include On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) program, Professional Development program, practice area advising sessions and regional interest events.
Schedules rooms, orders food, and oversees room set-up, event materials and announcements, RSVPs and sign-ins, and special arrangements for guest speakers and/or employers.
Liaisons with Technology Office, Dean's Office and others to ensure all programming runs smoothly and does not conflict with other law school events.
Maintains all files and information on reciprocity requests for job placements through other colleges and universities.
Reviews and research other school reciprocity policies.
Processes student and alumni reciprocity requests and serves as point of contact for other schools' reciprocity questions.
Maintains documentation on all requests.
Manages Career Services Office communications.
Sends Career Services events to Student Advancement Office for biweekly student announcements, creates digital signage and social media content, responds to comments on social media sites, and drafts general correspondence.
Oversees set-up, breakdown, and coordination of Career Service's events.
This includes, but is not limited to, tracking student responses, coordinating food orders, setting up & breaking down events, coordinating event and office coverage with OPS staff, collecting sign-in sheets, and documenting expenses.
Communicates with employees on OCI & job posting matters & assists students with questions relating to Career Office Services.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience, or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.
