Department Academic Center for Excellence - Division of Undergraduate Studies Responsibilities Provides program support to the ACE Learning Studio, conducts closing procedures for the Learning Studio, and serves as site supervisor during evening hours.
Responsible for conducting closing procedures and ensuring policy and compliance for the evening operations of the ACE Learning Studio.
Primary supervisor for evening shift tutors and desk staff, responsible for managing staff schedules, ensuring compliance with ACE policies and operations, monitoring attendance, providing performance feedback, and addressing employee personnel issues.
Manages check in, room reservations, online sessions, and group sessions.
Troubleshoot basic issues with technology.
Routinely visits Strozier Tutoring Center to monitor and coordinate with floor supervisor and make suggestions.
Leads the marketing of ACE services by creating pamphlets and flyers.
Helps maintain ACE social media accounts.
Serves as the liaison to campus partners; communicates with campus partners to collaborate, use limited resources efficiently, and provide informational and promotional material.
Coordinate and set up tabling events by assigning OPS staff to attend, preparing materials, and keeping track of attendance.
Promote ACE through presentations, tours, and scavenger hunts.
Manages organization, scheduling, and implementation of group tutoring by tracking requests, coordinating with faculty exam and assignment schedules, assigning tutors to the schedule, emailing students, and entering and tracking data for group sessions.
Maintains inventory, orders supplies and equipment, and routinely checks the condition of supplies.
Develops and implements emergency policies and procedures for late hours to ensure the safety of the facility and staff.
Checks the ACE tutoring email daily and serves as the evening liaison for inquiries about other FSU programs.
Provides support and input for the development of new projects and services for the Learning Studio.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education or experience equal to six years.
(Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.
) Preferred Qualifications Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
Ability to demonstrate excellent organization, attention to details, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and faculty.
Ability to work with people calmly, objectively, and confidentially.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience using simple graphic design programs.
Basic understanding of university policies, academic processes, and student resources.

Anticipated Salary Range Starting salary $42,000; commensurate with education and experience.
