Responsibilities
The Department of Mathematics at Florida State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2024.
The position is aimed at mathematical analysis and related areas, including harmonic analysis, global analysis on manifolds, and analysis of partial differential equations.
The successful candidate will teach graduate courses, supervise doctoral students, and teach general undergraduate mathematics courses.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in Mathematics or a related discipline and postdoctoral experience related to the field of mathematical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have successful university-level teaching experience and promise of outstanding research in areas that complement the existing research interests of the faculty.
