Responsibilities
Assists the Head Coach in determining the scope and purpose of the volleyball program in addition with coaching the student-athletes.
Assists with establishing and implementing recruiting, academic, athletic, and community service policies for student-athletes.
Maintains current skills and techniques in coaching, recruiting, training, and general management of a Division I-A intercollegiate sport program while adhering to Athletics Department, university, ACC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Completes all administrative duties for the volleyball offices to include but not limited to: general front office duties; travel arrangements/authorizations; generation of requisitions, receiving of purchase orders, managing p-card/t-card administrative tasks; updates and implement recruiting database; process ADF forms, IDRs and vendor profiles.
Other duties assigned by volleyball head coach and assistant coaches.
Coordinates travel arrangements and payments as well as completing travel documents for volleyball.
Assists in coordination of all home volleyball events.
Assists in coordinates and management of all aspects of volleyball coaches clinics and alumni events.
Responsible for the maintenance and oversight for the overall budgets with volleyball program.
Position is responsible for keeping coaches informed weekly on status of budget and alerting coaching staffs and sport oversight administrator immediately if items are requested that are not budgeted.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above.
Successful experience as a graduate assistant or intern in an athletic program is acceptable for up to one year of the required experience.
