The Art District needs assistance in finding great tenants / community members for our commercial and residential properties.
This position's primary role will be to generate leads, give tours to prospective tenants, and sign leases to increase occupancy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective tenants in touring the property and showcasing available units
- Respond to inquiries from potential residents regarding leasing options, amenities, and community policies
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify references
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments from residents
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and documenting any damages
- Develops and implements marketing strategies to attract renters, which includes social media posting, community/networking events, and referral programs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in leasing or property management preferred, but not required
- Strong customer relationship management and sales skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills & charismatic personality
- Computer and online proficiency with experience with excel/spreadsheets, social media, and ability to quickly learn new web apps and mobile apps
- Basic understanding of landlord/tenant law and fair housing regulations, or ability to quickly learn them
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
