Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential borrowers to assess their financial situation and determine the best mortgage options
- Guide borrowers through the loan application process, including gathering necessary documentation and completing required forms
- Analyze financial information, such as credit reports and income statements, to determine loan eligibility and risk level
- Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan origination process, addressing any questions or concerns from borrowers
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in mortgage lending practices
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or Loan Officer preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial services and mortgage lending processes
- Proficiency in credit analysis and evaluating borrower eligibility for various loan programs
- Understanding of mortgage servicing, escrow, and basic math calculations
Must be licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator in Florida.
