*Summary:*
Lead sales and marketing efforts.
Determine and meet sales quotas and goals, create sales plans, analyze data, and work within a team in accordance to the ARK vision, mission and core values.
*Core Responsibilities Include:*
· Meet or exceed set goals: activity, productivity (revenue consumption) and
booking goals
· Initiate and follow up on all leads for the hotel in all market segments/territory
through the brand, management company and other third-party resources
· Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program to include direct sales calls in the local markets
· Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market
· Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the
trace system in the sales automation system
· Be familiar with all online travel agent (OTA) sales policies and selling techniques with an emphasis on maximizing Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR.
)
· Have full working knowledge of sales automation system, including (but not
limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space and building
accounts
· Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel
· Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly,
professional service-oriented manner
· Participate as a team player with other key leaders and demonstrate hospitable
behavior as a role model for all other team members
· Develop trackable sales leads and local negotiated rate (LNR) production
· Understand/Review hotel’s revenue forecasts, gross operating profit (GOP), occupancy report and average daily rate (ADR) goals
· Respond to requests for proposals (RFP’s) in a timely, professional, and appropriate manner
· Work with Revenue Manager on quoting rates (Groups and local negotiated rates (LNR’s))
